Question 1

Do I need a learner permit before booking driving lessons?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Texas requires a valid learner permit before any behind-the-wheel instruction. If you don't have one yet, our guided workflow will point you to the right driver education course to get started.

Question 2

What is the adult driver education course and who needs it?

Accepted Answer

Adults aged 18–24 must complete a 6-hour state-approved adult driver education course before taking the written exam. Drivers 25 and older can either take the written test directly at DPS or complete the online course to skip the written test.

Question 3

How much do driving lessons cost in Austin TX?

Accepted Answer

Each behind-the-wheel lesson is a focused 1.5-hour session. Our driving lesson packages give you 6, 9 or 12 hours of lessons with your road test and pickup & drop-off included, and Confidence Booster packages give licensed drivers extra practice. Pay securely online and book your lessons whenever it suits you.

Question 4

Do you provide a vehicle for the road test?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for an add-on fee of $59. You can also bring your own vehicle. We schedule your official Texas DPS road test ($119, includes 2 attempts) and provide step-by-step preparation.

Question 5

How do I schedule a driving lesson or road test?

Accepted Answer

Book your slot on our booking page at parinamadrivingschool.com/book and pay securely by card to confirm — your slot is held while you pay and confirmed the moment payment succeeds. Road tests book the same way.

Question 6

Do you work with new immigrants and international students?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We specialize in adult learners, new immigrants, and international students, and offer guidance in multiple languages on request. We're open 7 days a week including Sundays.
